Terri Radcliffe Hunziker died of non-small cell, non-smokers lung cancer on July 4th, 2008.  After her diagnosis in the fall of 2003 she decided to "captain" the flight that she hoped would eventually lead to her complete recovery.  With only about 5% of those diagnosed with her disease surviving five years, she knew that her flight would very likely be a turbulent one.  Still, she grabbed the yoke and began her flight with determination and zeal.

Terri researched her disease exhaustively reading everything she could get her hands on.  She approached her treatment holistically.  Her primary oncologist, Dr. Frank Senecal, is the best in the business.  She became a patient of Dr. Gignac, an incredibly knowledgeable Naturopathic Physician at the Seattle Cancer Treatment and Wellness Center.  She conversed often with the finest oncologists in the country at M.D. Anderson, Sloan Kettering, Baylor University, Mayo Clinic, Swedish Hospital in Seattle, and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (University of Washington and Fred Hutchinson).  She became a patient at Island Health Consulting in Anacortes, WA.
