In memory of Terri Radcliffe Hunziker, a scholarship will be awarded yearly to an eighth grade girl living on the Key Peninsula who exemplifies the outstanding character, conscientious attitude, intelligence, community spirit, and fun-loving nature that Terri Radcliffe Hunziker lived daily.  The scholarship will be funded by Harbor Web Works LLP, a business founded by Terri Radcliffe Hunziker, and other personal contributors.

Although the recipient will be named at the conclusion of her eighth grade year, the funds will not be allocated until the recipient has graduated from high school and successfully enrolled in some form of post secondary education (college, institute, tech program, etc.).  This will be further discussed with the recipient's parents.

The selection will be made by Mike Hunziker, Terri's husband of 24 years.  Mike has been teaching since 1982 and is currently employed by the Peninsula School District.  His present assignment is with Key Peninsula Middle School.  Those considered for the award will have to meet the scholarship's criteria. Mike will also consult with a group of his colleagues at Key Peninsula Middle School each year before making his final decision.

The funds will initially be held in federally insured investments.  The 2009 award will be $1500.
